Spot Welder Machine Operator

Job Description Crown Staffing is recruiting Spot Welder Machine Operators and Tig Welder to join our team!
Qualifications:
Perform spot-welder operations on a broad range of metals and alloys to produce a wide variety of large and complex units.
Plan welding sequence, select electrode type and size, current and voltage.
Regulate current and voltage for proper penetration and fusion metals.
General experience as a machine operator would qualify for starting pay range as an operator.
If applying for setup level operator you will be asked to prove capabilities and how to set up machines and read drawings before offer will be made.
(must be able to read blue prints) - Stainless Steel and Aluminum TIG welding experience required.
- Set up workstation with appropriate weld jig and check fixture according to the detail sheet.
- Manually weld using the MIG/TIG welding processes to manufacture components, consistently read and interpret blue prints.
- Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
- Responsible for perform Quality Assurance checks on work to ensure production specifications are quality maintained.
- Must possess good communication, problem solving and organizational skills - Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing long periods of time while performing physically demanding repetitive job task - Capable of regular lifting randomly sized items up to 60 pounds.
High School diploma or equivalent.
- Highly motivated - Punctuality and Good Attendance is Must.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and writing, along with the ability to do basic math.
- Ability to make sure decisions and solve problems by using logic, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions.
Schedule :
Monday - Thursday 6am - 3pm Friday 6am - 12pm.
Pay Rate :
Depends on experience.
