Responsibilities in this area are to comply with safety rules and to report any unsafe conditions to the facility supervisor immediatelyMake sure all power and air to the machine is off before performing ANY repairsAble to execute daily and weekly Preventative Maintenance (PM)Ensure quality, cleanliness and upkeep machinesDocument and report problemsWeak or uncompleted seals are rejected and correctedPin holes or burned seals are rejected and correctedFilm has good print quality and is of the correct thicknessCheck the units produced from the machine at the weigh station to ensure they are boththe proper weights and dimension EVERY 20 MINUTES.
Document this by completing the Gel Production Quality Control ReportOversee packers to ensure the proper number of units is packed in each caseThe packer should place units in the case label up in a manner where they are not at risk of tearing on the box/partition and then flatten each pack in the caseOversee Stackers to ensure the correct palletizing pattern is be used and shippers are properly taped closedOther duties as assignedThese skills make you a good candidate for this Machine Operator position:
High school diploma or GEDBasic math and counting skills, must Pass word math test by reading questions out loud to show reading and comprehension ability as well as showing methods for solving word problems.
