This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities.
Enter bills and credit card charges into QuickBooks.
Pay vendor bills via ACH, BillPay, Wire or credit card.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
Make bank deposits.
Post A/R payments to invoices.
Review customer's account status and account aging information.
Reach out to customers with past due and/or delinquent payments.
Send friendly payment reminders.
Handle customer collection calls.
Make journal entries.
Produce routine and special reports.
Maintain manual and electronic file systems.
Make updates to lists and spreadsheets.
Preferred and Required Education/Experience/Skills High School Diploma or equivalent (Required) 2 to 3 years of bookkeeping experience (Preferred) Proficient in QuickBooks (Required) Knowledge of Google Sheets (Preferred) Benefits Commission Paid Time Off (13 days annually, accrual by month) IRA (Company Matching) Health insurance Paid Maternity & Paternity Leave Job Type Full-time - Mon to Fri - No weekends Salary $23/hour, 40 hours a week Work Location 380 Roma Jean Parkway Streamwood IL 60107 Job Type:
