We are a heavy highway and bridge construction contractor seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team.
As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing calendars, responding to emails, and assisting with various office tasks.
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors - Manage calendars and schedule appointments - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department - Assist with organizing and planning company events - Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness - Enter orders into the system accurately - Maintain organized files and records - Utilize computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows and using Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience in calendar management and scheduling appointments - Familiarity with phone systems and handling incoming calls - Knowledge of Microsoft OneDrive for document management and collaboration - Ability to assist with event planning and coordination - Attention to detail for proofreading documents - Experience with invoice entry and maintaining accurate records - Strong organizational skills to keep files and documents computerized Standard Schedule:
